Have you run a successful voter mobilization campaign and wondered how to take it to the next level? Why not emulate the Korean Resource Center (KRC), and organize community members to lead your civic participation work!
KRC, an MIV member based in Korea Town, Los Angeles has organized Power Vote 2008; a collective of community leaders dedicated to educating voters and generating votes in the 2008 elections. Since its inception in December 2007, the fifteen member group meets monthly to learn about the electoral system, discuss ballot issues, and volunteer for civic activities.
